Aboutthis position:
Haute & Boss is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a strong background in managing projects within the super-luxury home environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and at the highest level of fit and finish.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities will include:
- Manage all aspects of construction projects within the super-luxury home sectors, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Act as a point of contact for clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines and milestones.
- Prepare conceptual budgets, SOV, and manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying opportunities for cost savings or efficiencies.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or delays promptly.
- Ensure compliance with highest level of construction and craftsmanship standards for private luxury construction projects.
- Support the management of contracts (AIA format), including reviewing, negotiating, and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Assist in producing and tracking project budgets, managing financial records, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor project risks and provide recommendations for mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to review technical documents and specifications to ensure project requirements are met.
- Provide regular project updates to clients and stakeholders, addressing any concerns and maintaining strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear communication among team members.
Skills, Qualifications and Requirements for this position:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, ideally within the residential luxury construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, materials and practices for construction, in all Trade areas .
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Procore.
- Complete understanding of AIA contract structure, Schedule of Values, CSI Divisions, G702/3 application for payments
- Knowledge of luxury residential project construction and deep understanding of full construction process inclusive of all Trades.
- PMP Certification
- Autocad skills are a plus (not a requirement)
- Strong ground-up construction knowledge with focus on concrete systems
