Construction Safety Specialist (Bilingual English/Spanish)

Job Type: Full-Time
CPM Builders NA is seeking an experienced Construction Safety Specialist to support active construction projects in the Miami area. This role is responsible for implementing and enforcing safety programs, ensuring OSHA compliance, and promoting a strong culture of safety across all job sites. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish
, highly organized, and experienced in field-based construction safety.
- Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections and hazard assessments
- Enforce OSHA regulations, company policies, and site-specific safety plans
- Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training in English and Spanish
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and injuries; prepare detailed reports and corrective actions
- Maintain safety documentation, logs, and compliance records
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and field personnel to resolve safety concerns
- Monitor use of PPE, fall protection, confined space procedures, and other high-risk activities
- Support continuous improvement of the company’s safety culture and EMR performance
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (required)
- 3+ years of construction safety experience in the field
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification (OSHA 500 preferred)
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local OSHA regulations
- Experience with commercial, civil, or industrial construction projects preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and documentation skills
- Ability to work on active construction sites and travel locally within the Miami area
