Because of their continued growth, a General Contractor in the Greater Miami Area is seeking an Assistant Superintnendent - Multifamily Commercial Construction Ground-up to join their team. The Assistant Superintendent duties include inspecting and installing equipment and new technologies, directing crews or workers on site, conducting research, and reporting on project status. Field engineers will make sure that everything works smoothly and blueprints are being followed.

Assistant Superintendent QUALIFICATIONS:

4 Year Degree in Construction Management or Similar OR with relevant experience as Assistant Superintnendent in Multifamily Commercial CONSTRUCTION

1-3 years expereince in the commercial construction industry as a Field Engineer/Assistant Superintendent

Familiarity with construction industry computer software

Key Responsibilities of an Assistant Superintendent Include:

• Communicate with clients to determine needs and explain complex issues
• Conduct research and studies on site
• Manage field activities and implement blueprints
• Diagnose construction or machinery problems
• Resolve malfunctions or other crises when they arise
• Oversee repairs and technical improvements
• Install new systems and technology
• Inspect and test material and machinery for safety
• Ensure proper maintenance of onsite equipment
• Supervise and direct onsite crew (e.g. technicians)
• Draft and submit reports
