Estimator – Commercial & Multifamily Projects
Location: Miami, Florida
Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 + Bonus + Full Benefits
An established General Contractor based in Miami is seeking an experienced Estimator to support a strong pipeline of commercial, multifamily, and high-rise construction projects.
The company specializes in ground-up developments ranging from $2M to $100M and has built a reputation for delivering high-quality projects across South Florida.
The RoleThe Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates across a range of projects, working closely with the preconstruction and leadership teams to ensure successful bid delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial, multifamily, and high-rise projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Perform quantity take-offs and pricing analysis
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
- Develop budgets and assist in bid strategy
- Identify risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value engineering options
- Collaborate with internal teams throughout the preconstruction phase
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Estimator with a General Contractor
- Proven experience delivering ground-up commercial, multifamily, or high-rise projects
- Experience estimating projects within the $2M – $100M range
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Proficiency with estimating software such as Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or Procore
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Base salary of $120,000 – $160,000
