Job Description
  • Oversee all on-site construction activities for high-end luxury retail interior renovation projects from mobilization through final turnover
  • Coordinate daily operations with subcontractors, vendors, architects, and project management teams to ensure project milestones are met
  • Maintain strict adherence to project schedules, proactively identifying and resolving delays or conflicts
  • Ensure all work meets the highest standards of quality, craftsmanship, and brand specifications typical of luxury retail environments
  • Interpret and execute detailed architectural drawings, millwork packages, and design specifications with precision
  • Lead site logistics planning in complex, occupied, or high-traffic urban retail environments
  • Conduct regular site inspections to enforce safety compliance and maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite
  • Manage sequencing of trades, with a strong focus on finishes, custom millwork, lighting, and specialty installations
  • Collaborate with clients and designers to address field changes while preserving design intent and quality standards
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and hold teams accountable for workmanship, productivity, and deadlines
  • Assist in resolving field issues, RFIs, and change orders in coordination with the project manager
  • Ensure all long-lead materials and custom elements are tracked, delivered, and installed according to schedule
  • Lead punch list completion and oversee final inspections to achieve seamless project close-out
  • Maintain detailed daily reports, progress updates, and site documentation

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent - High End Retail should have:
  • 7+ years of proven ability to manage and deliver high-end retail construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficiency in Procore
  • A track record of adhering to project timelines and budgets.
