Advanced Electric USA Inc. is a growing and reputable electrical contracting company specializing in commercial and residential projects across Florida. We are committed to providing high-quality electrical solutions with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical construction projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation.

Salary starts at $25,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects
  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project requirements
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
  • Utilize software tools such as Turbobid and Planswift to create estimates and proposals
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to gather information for estimating purposes
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings during the estimating process
  • Prepare bid packages and submit proposals to clients
  • Participate in negotiations with clients and subcontractors regarding pricing and contract terms
Qualifications
  • Preferred:
    Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field
  • Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles, practices, and techniques
  • Proficiency in using estimating software such as Heavy Bid and Bluebeam
  • Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and other technical documents
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with contract documents, including NEC contracts
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Preferred:
    Knowledge in Best Bid Estimating Software
