Role Overview

We’re seeking a Refrigeration Project Manager in the Miami metro area to oversee commercial refrigeration construction projects and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

  • Deliver complex refrigeration projects that meet quality standards and exceed customer expectations
  • Build strong client relationships that generate repeat business and referrals
  • Control costs and schedules to maximize project profitability
  • Ensure safe execution of all project activities
Responsibilities
  • Manage overall project plan for commercial refrigeration construction activities
  • Coordinate with clients providing regular status updates on timelines and budgets
  • Oversee field operations including labor, materials, and equipment coordination
  • Maintain all project documentation including submittals, RFIs, and change orders
  • Lead project meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Monitor job costs and implement corrective actions to stay within budget
  • Ensure compliance with safety requirements and building codes
  • Resolve project issues and manage risks proactively
Requirements
Must-Haves
  • 5+ years of project management experience in commercial refrigeration or HVAC construction
  • Strong understanding of supermarket refrigeration systems and installation practices
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with project management software
Nice-to-Haves
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • EPA Universal certification
  • Experience with design-build project delivery
  • OSHA 30 certification
