SUMMARY

This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on a construction site. This role focuses on execution, coordination, safety, and quality while working closely with Construction and Project Managers, field teams, vendors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to company quality standards.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee all on-site construction activities from start to finish
  • Coordinate daily work schedules and sequencing of trades
  • Ensure work follows project plans, specifications, and permits
  • Monitor project progress and productivity while updating timelines and task lists

    Develop & maintain project schedules and documentation with PM or Construction Manager (permits, drawings, safety forms, etc)
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and inspections
  • Ensure materials, equipment, and labor are available when needed
  • Anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts or delays
  • Supervise subcontractors, foremen, and on-site crews
  • Enforce site rules, standards, and performance expectations
  • Conduct daily briefings and toolbox talks
  • Serve as main point of contact
  • Enforce OSHA and company safety policies
  • Conduct site safety meetings and inspections
  • Identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken
  • Stop unsafe work practices immediately
  • Inspect work to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications
  • Identify and correct defects or non-conforming work
  • Coordinate testing and punch lists
  • Ensure proper installation methods are followed
  • Communicate daily progress to PM
  • Maintain daily reports, logs, and photos
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers and inspectors as needed
  • Document issues, changes, and site conditions
  • Resolve on-site issues quickly and effectively
  • Manage unforeseen conditions or design conflicts
  • Implement necessary changes with PM approval
  • Keep project moving despite obstacles
  • Coordinate final inspections for permit closure
  • Manage punch list completion
  • Ensure site cleanup and demobilization
  • Assist with project turnover to ownership or GC
