Senior Estimator - Miami - Commercial Construction, Hospitality, Healthcare, Aviation & Civil

As a Senior Estimator, you will lead the estimating process on large, complex construction projects, developing accurate and commercially competitive estimates from concept through to final tender submission. Working closely with preconstruction, operations and project management teams, you will play a key role in securing major projects and supporting successful project delivery.

• Lead the preparation of conceptual, schematic, design development and final construction estimates.
• Review drawings, specifications and contract documents to determine project scope.
• Produce detailed quantity take-offs across structural, civil, architectural and specialist trades.
• Develop comprehensive cost estimates covering labour, materials, equipment, subcontractors, preliminaries and contingencies.
• Manage subcontractor and supplier enquiries, evaluate quotations and ensure complete scope coverage.
• Identify project risks, opportunities and value engineering solutions.
• Prepare bid packages, estimate summaries and proposal documentation.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, constructability reviews and site visits.
• Support business development and client presentations with estimating expertise.

You will ideally have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years' progressive construction estimating experience, ideally on large commercial, industrial, infrastructure or mixed-use developments.
• Proven experience producing estimates from early concept through to final tender submission.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, quantity take-offs, procurement processes and cost control.
• Experience estimating self-performed structural and civil works is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with Excel, Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff and industry-standard estimating software.
