Commercial General Superintendent

Job Description

The Project Superintendent directly and through subordinate Superintendents, oversees profitable installation of project work by directing co‑workers and interfacing, coordinating and directing other trades. Responsible for all areas on medium or large projects including prime contracts. Responsible for safety, planning, cost and productivity, while perpetuating an SQP culture. Responsible for high level client relationship through professional conduct.

The Project Superintendent will possess competency in the following areas in order to perform his/her role in a safe, high quality and productive (SQP) manner. Note that the areas listed are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by co‑workers assigned to this role. • Oversees and Directs Staff
• Promotes Client and Industry Relations
• Ensures a Safe Work Environment
• Participates in Training/Certifications

• Need experience working with concrete commercial mid‑rise/high‑rise
• Must come from a self‑perform general contractor or shell contractor
• Line & Grade experience
• Foreman experience
• In‑depth knowledge and experience of formwork systems
