Project Engineer

We are hiring a Project Engineer for a growing South Florida developer and general contractor.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with approximately 1–2 years of experience working for a General Contractor who wants to continue building their career while working alongside experienced project leadership on large-scale commercial and mixed-use construction projects.

We're also open to strong recent Construction Management graduates who have gained meaningful real-world construction experience through internships, field experience, or previous employment.

This role is designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career in construction management while receiving mentorship and increasing responsibility over time.

We're looking for candidates with approximately 1–2+ years of General Contractor experience or strong recent Construction Management graduates with practical field experience.

You must have:

• Experience with a General Contractor preferred
• Procore
• Bluebeam
• Microsoft Project
• Microsoft Excel
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Desire to learn and grow within construction management

• Prepare RFIs
• Process submittals
• Coordinate document control
• Prepare meeting minutes
• Review shop drawings
• Support scheduling
• Track permits
• Coordinate subcontractors
• Assist with buyouts
• Support punch lists
• Assist with project closeout documentation

No financial management responsibilities.

• Work directly alongside experienced construction leadership

• Have 1–2 years of General Contractor experience or are a strong recent Construction Management graduate

Base salary is $75,000–$80,000, depending on experience.

Compensation will ultimately be based on your construction background, technical skills, and overall qualifications.
