Job Description & How to Apply Below

Flotech is an environmental contractor providing cleaning, maintenance, and repair services for critical infrastructure, including wastewater conveyance systems and underground utility services. Our clients include municipalities, contractors, property managers, homeowner associations across Florida, with offices in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, and Tampa Bay.

The Superintendent is central to that mission, serving as the primary field leader responsible for day-to-day operations on assigned projects — keeping crews safe and productive, equipment running, and projects on schedule and on budget.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Superintendent is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and successful execution of field operations on assigned job sites. This role oversees field crews and equipment, enforces safety and quality standards, manages job site administration (including timecard accuracy), and serves as the key point of coordination between the field and the Project Manager. The Superintendent is accountable for keeping projects safe, productive, well-organized, and on schedule from mobilization through completion.

Expense Management & Job Costing

Track job costs against the approved project budget, flagging variances and working with the Project Manager to keep spending on labor, materials, and equipment within budget.
  • Submit accurate, well-documented expense reports and purchase requests in a timely manner, following company approval procedures for all job site spending.
Project & Communication Support
  • Serve as the primary liaison between field crews and the Project Manager, ensuring alignment on project needs and priorities.
