Lead Superintendent
We are seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent to oversee field operations across multiple projects or large-scale builds. This individual will be responsible for driving project success through strong leadership, safety oversight, scheduling expertise, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all on-site construction activities from preconstruction through project completion
- Manage and mentor superintendents, assistant superintendents, and field staff
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors to maintain workflow and quality
- Enforce safety standards and ensure OSHA compliance at all times
- Partner with project managers to monitor budgets, costs, and progress
- Conduct regular site meetings and provide updates to stakeholders
- Identify and proactively resolve field issues to avoid delays
- Ensure all work meets high-quality standards and client expectations
Qualifications
- 10+ years of construction experience, with at least 5 years in a Superintendent or Lead Superintendent role
- Proven experience managing large-scale commercial, industrial, or multi-family projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety regulations
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Primavera, MS Project, or similar preferred)
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
