We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution of a multi-year, $150 million pipeline installation project utilizing Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) technology. This high-profile infrastructure project involves installing pipelines beneath a canal using advanced trenchless construction methods, requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and project execution skills.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys managing complex civil construction projects from planning through completion while working alongside experienced engineering and construction teams.
What You'll Do- Lead all phases of a large-scale HDD pipeline construction project.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, procurement, and field operations.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, clients, and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Review construction plans, technical drawings, and project specifications.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Lead progress meetings and provide executive-level project reporting.
- Oversee quality control and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Support contract administration, change orders, and cost forecasting.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Ocean, or related Engineering discipline.
- 8+ years of heavy civil, utility, marine, or pipeline construction experience.
- Previous Project Management experience on large infrastructure projects.
- Experience with HDD, trenchless construction, underground utilities, marine construction, pipelines, or EPC projects is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, contract management, and construction execution.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work on-site in the Miami area for approximately two years.
