Construction Superintendent (Tilt-Up & Concrete Construction)

Since 2001, we have delivered high-quality commercial construction and project management solutions across Florida. Our hands-on leadership, experienced team, and commitment to safety, quality, integrity, and client service have helped us build a strong reputation in the industry. We take pride in completing projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards while creating a collaborative, values-driven environment where talented people can grow.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations for commercial, industrial, and multi-family projects, with a strong emphasis on tilt-up and concrete construction. The Superintendent will be responsible for coordinating field activities, managing subcontractors and crews, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget. This role requires construction leadership across office, mid-rise and high-rise environments and close collaboration with general contractors and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily on-site construction activities for tilt-wall, tilt-up, and concrete scopes across commercial, industrial, office, and multi-family projects (mid-rise and high-rise).
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate crews, subcontractors, material deliveries, and equipment to meet project milestones and production targets.
  • Manage and oversee concrete placements, formwork, rebar installation, curing procedures, and quality control for structural elements and tilt panels.
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety policies and OSHA regulations; conduct toolbox talks, safety inspections, and incident reporting.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and submittals; identify conflicts and coordinate timely resolution with the project team and general contractor.
  • Monitor progress and productivity; prepare daily reports, track RFIs and submittals, and provide regular status updates to project management.
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, and commissioning activities; ensure corrective actions are implemented for non-conforming work.
  • Control site cost drivers by monitoring labor productivity, material usage, and change orders; support cost-saving initiatives and schedule recovery plans.
  • Lead on-site meetings with subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders to clarify scope, expectations, and sequencing.
  • Mentor and develop field staff, enforce quality standards, and implement best practices for efficient construction execution.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of superintendent or lead foreman experience on ground-up construction projects in South Florida, including commercial, industrial, office, and multi-family projects; demonstrated experience on mid-rise and high-rise buildings.
  • Proven tilt-up and tilt-wall experience, including panel erection, bracing, joint detailing, and integration with structural concrete work.
  • Strong concrete construction background: formwork, reinforcement, placement, finishing, curing, and testing protocols.
  • Experience working with South Florida general contractors and coordinating multiple trades on fast-paced sites.
  • Knowledge of construction scheduling tools (MS Project, P6, or similar) and proficiency with reporting and document control software.
  • OSHA 30 certification required;
First Aid/CPR and other safety credentials preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills with a focus on teamwork and subcontractor management.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and structural details.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between job sites as needed.
  • Track record of delivering projects on-time and within budget while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Benefits:
