Hotel Maintenance Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Hotel Maintenance Project Manager in Miami, FL (Florida).

Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Hotel Maintenance Project Manager to lead refurbishment, maintenance, and capital improvement projects across a cruise fleet. This role manages projects from initial scope and planning through execution and closeout, partnering with shipboard teams, shoreside operations, shipyards, contractors, vendors, Supply Chain, and technical specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage hotel maintenance and refurbishment projects from scope development through execution and closeout

* Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, work packages, and execution plans

* Coordinate projects during dry docks, vessel revitalizations, modernization periods, and in-service operations

* Conduct or coordinate vessel condition surveys and identify maintenance and refurbishment requirements

* Manage contractors, vendors, OEMs, and shipyard partners

* Coordinate with onboard Hotel and Marine teams to minimize operational and guest disruption

* Track project budgets, forecasts, change orders, schedules, risks, milestones, and technical issues

* Coordinate materials and equipment with Procurement, Supply Chain, and Logistics

* Inspect completed work for quality and established technical standards

* Support lifecycle planning and replacement solutions for hotel equipment, furnishings, finishes, and related assets

* Maintain drawings, specifications, budgets, schedules, and project closeout documentation

REQUIREMENTS:

* Hands-on experience supporting projects onsite during shipyard or dry dock periods

* Experience managing hotel refurbishment, vessel modernization, or maritime capital projects

* Project management experience involving design, architecture, construction, or refurbishment

* Comfortable traveling to ships, shipyards, and dry docks as project requirements dictate

* Cruise line experience is highly preferred, with hands-on dry dock/refurbishment experience being a major advantage

* A project management background involving design or architecture is also desirable

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
