A fast-growing start-up in the construction industry is seeking a Certified General Contractor in the Miami, FL area.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Construction Operations: Own estimating, quoting, scheduling, project execution, crew management, budgets, safety, quality control, and customer relationships.
- Build & Scale the Operation: Recruit and develop field crews, establish supplier/subcontractor relationships, and create scalable SOPs and workflows to support rapid growth.
- Drive Market Expansion: Progress the operation from residential concrete and flatwork into commercial, demolition, municipal/government, FDOT, and broader civil infrastructure projects.
- Active Florida CGC license in good standing.
- 7+ years of experience in concrete, flatwork, paving, demolition, or civil construction, including 3+ years directly managing crews and construction operations.
- Proven track record scaling construction operations from residential to commercial work, with experience in site work underground construction, or other civil infrastructure. Government/municipal experience is a plus.
