Job Summary
Maintains editorial standards and accuracy/quality of content for environment websites and related content webpages. Develops strategy recommendations for environment and environmental resilience content based on information obtained through content inventories, current-state analysis, site audits, competitive assessments, user testing, and Website metrics. Develops clear, user-friendly online content for FIU's environment digital presence.
Responsibilities- Develops, assesses, reviews and approves digital content for FIU environment websites.
- Strategizes with FIU CASE communications team and other related college communications teams on digital content planning.
- Follows quality standards and measures website content quality.
- Works directly with unit-based contributors and oversees content quality and compliance.
- Manages information architecture, style guides, templates, and analytics.
- Works with university Digital Communications to develop content requirements for existing and proposed content elements.
- Develops analytic reports for vice provost office leadership for environment and environmental resilience.
- Responsible for hearing the voice of the user: takes into account all of the various input and transforms it into an optimal content plan.
- Provides regular updates to website content.
- Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of work experience in digital design/publication agency environments as content strategist, copywriter, or an editorial related field.
