Music Teacher

This is a contract role for a Music Teacher based in Miami, FL. The Music Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering music lessons to students of varying skill levels, with an emphasis on fostering creativity, building foundational skills in music theory and performance, and encouraging growth. Responsibilities include conducting individual lessons, preparing students for performances, maintaining a supportive and inclusive learning environment, and collaborating with the Music Mi team to inspire and empower young musicians.

All lessons take place in students’ homes.

Must pass a background check and have reliable transportation.

• Expertise in Music Theory and Music Education
• Proficiency in music with a focus on instruments such as piano
• Passion for teaching and mentoring young learners
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with diverse communities is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field preferred
• Flexibility to work on-site and adapt to the needs of students
