Digital Lead - International Multimedia Journalist III
Primary responsibilities:
- Assist with publishing and distributing digital content across web, social media, and streaming platforms.
- Monitor digital broadcasts and online content to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
- Support live-streaming and digital production activities by setting up and operating broadcasting tools and software.
- Upload, organize, and maintain digital media files, ensuring content is properly formatted and accessible.
- Track and report basic audience engagement metrics and platform performance data.
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues and coordinate with technical staff to resolve more complex problems.
- Participates in the creation and development of regularly scheduled or special radio and/or TV programs and/or web and social media sections, as assigned.
- Contributes to production elements of programs and content for broadcast and/or web and social media, including fine editing of taped material, as assigned.
- As assigned, edits and approves copy and content prepared or written by others for broadcast and/or publication for inclusion in his/her assigned stories.
- Contributes finished products meeting standards to production elements of programs and content for broadcast and/or web and social media, including fine editing of taped material and static and motion graphics, as assigned.
- Contributes to teamwork, facilitating tasks of teammates, as needed.
- Meets VOA standards for productivity, quality, and meeting deadlines.
- Makes suggestions about policy and workflow improvements.
- Works independently or as a member of a team.
- Fluency in target language (written, spoken) and deep knowledge of the target area, plus the ability to adapt stories into English as assigned, within the time assigned.
- Other related duties as assigned.
