- Operate and monitor broadcast, studio, and production equipment during live and recorded programming.
- Assist in maintaining broadcast systems, control room equipment, audio/video systems, and transmission facilities.
- Troubleshoot routine technical issues and escalate complex problems to senior engineering staff.
- Perform equipment inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Support studio setup and technical preparation for broadcasts, recordings, and special events.
- Monitor signal quality and equipment performance to help ensure uninterrupted broadcast operations.
- Assist with installation, configuration, and testing of new broadcast and production equipment.
- Works with supervisor to be familiar with the latest/new technology
- Operates computers
- Completes tasks accurately and independently prior to deadline, in according with editorial and production priorities
- Functions as effective member of a team
- Other related duties as assigned
