Overview

We are seeking a creative and versatile Multimedia Production Specialist with strong shooting, editing, and short-form storytelling expertise. This role will own the full content creation process from concept and strategy through production, editing, and distribution. The ideal candidate understands how content performs across digital platforms and can create compelling visual stories that drive engagement, build awareness, and capture audience attention.

Key Responsibilities

+ Produce and edit high-quality video content, with a strong emphasis on short-form storytelling.

+ Capture and edit photography for digital, social, and marketing initiatives.

+ Develop motion graphics and visual effects to enhance video content.

+ Create digital assets, advertisements, and campaign creative materials.

+ Develop and evolve organizational storytelling with a polished, high-touch approach.

+ Ensure consistent messaging and brand storytelling across multiple channels and platforms.

+ Support content strategies that generate engagement, visibility, and audience growth.

+ Collaborate with stakeholders to translate ideas into compelling visual narratives.

+ Leverage an understanding of earned media and media relations to maximize content impact.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

+ Proven experience in video production, editing, photography, and digital content creation.

+ Strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling through short-form video and multimedia content.

+ Experience developing content for social media, digital marketing, and online publishing platforms.

+ Ability to manage projects from concept through final delivery.

+ Background in higher education is a plus.

Tools & Platforms

Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, motion graphics tools, digital publishing platforms, social media platforms.

Work Arrangement

+ Hybrid schedule with on-site attendance required for video shoots and content capture.

+ Remote flexibility for editing, design, content development, and strategy work.

+ Immediate start preferred.

+ Approximately 20-30 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours based on project needs.

+ Mid-to-senior level experience preferred.
