Job DescriptionThe Front Desk Agent should be impeccably mannered and discreet. Greet visitors to the property, verify and supply guided access to units, and act as the gatekeeper of the residences. The Front Desk staff will have experience in customer service with the ability to interact positively with individuals and take initiative in providing a high level of resident service and support.
The Front Desk Associate will also be responsible for roaming the building premises and handling packages for residents.
- Greeting vendors, residents, and their guests.
- Coordinating all deliveries of packages, flowers, and restaurant food.
- Controlling and monitoring security cameras.
- Monitoring building exterior doors and maintaining a secure environment for residents.
- Monitoring and controlling guest and vendor access to residential floors.
- Collaborating with other building staff and ensuring residents and their guests’ needs are met.
- Reviewing daily front desk procedures and facilitating communication between unit owners, maintenance teams, and property management.
- Ensuring all areas are maintained in a professional and clean manner during shifts.
- Following all safety and security policies, programs, and procedures.
- Handling crisis situations in the event of an emergency and/or fire.
- Answering the telephone clearly and professionally.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Essential
- High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
- Fluency in English, both verbally and non-verbally.
- Provide legible communication and directions.
- Ability to:
- Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
- Prioritize and organize.
- Be a clear thinker, remain calm, and resolve problems with good judgment.
- Follow directions thoroughly.
- Understand guest/member service needs.
- Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
- Work with minimal supervision.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest/member information and pertinent data.
- Ability to input and access information in property management, computers, and POS systems.
Desirable
- Some college or training in the Hospitality Industry.
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent.
- Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)
- Spa: 2 years (Preferred)
- High school (Required)
- English (Required)
- Spanish, Russian, Portuguese preferred
