Details Seasonal Event Staff Hourly Rate: $15.00/HR + Part-time EXCLUSIVE Referral Bonus (only for Miami Marlins new hires): $150 for EACH person you refer as long as they remain working for us for 90 days!!

Home Game Days, for 2026 Job Fair Date
  • February 20th (10am-3:30pm)
  • Location: 1502 NW 7th St, Miami, FL 33125.
  • Instructions:
    There will be someone outside directing attendees to the parking office, which is located on the first floor of the Home Plate parking garage.
The Spirit of the Position

The Event Staff members are the front‑line personnel responsible for greeting, engaging, and interacting with all customers attending the Marlins Park events. The Event Staff position will last the duration of the 2026 MLB Miami Marlins season home games.

Principal

Job Duties
  • Meet and greet each customer with courtesy and great customer service.
  • Understand the surroundings and event details to answer questions.
  • Accurately distribute tickets (proof of purchase) to each customer.
  • Expedite the traffic flow in a timely fashion.
  • Adhere to the dress code – Uniform polo tucked in, black professional pants or shorts, and comfortable sneakers within the uniform colors.
  • Must be able to work outside in any weather conditions (rain, snow, wind, heat, etc.) and be able to continuously stand for extended periods (3‑7 hours).
  • Must be able to work the majority of the event season. Events are scheduled days, nights weekends, and some holidays.
  • Follow all safety standards.
  • Communicate with management, supervisors, and traffic directors.
  • Answer customer service questions concerning parking, answer general customer inquiries courteously, professionally, and effectively, and refer questions to the supervisor when applicable.
  • Will be expected to take direction from managers, supervisors, and emergency responders during emergencies.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Experience
  • 1+ years in a customer service role
  • Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience working in outdoor/extreme weather conditions is preferred.
Skills
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
  • Must be able to work unsupervised.
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
  • Must be able to work standing up/on feet for extended periods.
Physical Demands
  • Willingness to work in the elements -- heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 15 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift.
