Responsibilities

Position: Cashier

Location: Four Seasons Miami

Pay Rate: $14.00/hr

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Traffic Flow

  • Proactive Service: Utilize a quality customer service orientation to facilitate the flow of traffic through the gate and resolve customer complaints independently or with the aid of a supervisor.

  • Expert Guidance: Give directions to customers to diiferent locations in the city and answer the telephone in a prompt and courteous manner.

  • Problem Solving: Quotes prices for parking services clearly and completes lost ticket forms when original tickets cannot be located.

Cash Handling & Transactions

  • Payment Processing: Receive payment from customers for parking services, compute or re‑compute bills from tickets, and operate the cash register to display the cost of the transaction.

  • Financial Accuracy: Count the “bank” of revenue at the beginning of the shift to ensure the starting total is correct, make change, and issue receipts or tickets to customers for each transaction.

  • Reporting: Collect cash and/or validations while maintaining security of cash, and record amounts received, cars in/out, and cars left in the facility while preparing the shift report.

Operations & Station Maintenance

  • Reliability: Responsible for being at work every scheduled day, on time, and in uniform.

  • Booth Standards: Maintain cleanliness of the booth, pick up trash in the surrounding area, and conduct timely checks to ensure a proper inventory of necessary work supplies is located in the booth.

  • Team Support: Verify the log of shift transactions against the bank of “revenue” on hand, compile collected revenue during the day, and perform any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Background: 1+ years in customer service. Hospitaly industry highly preferred.

  • Fluent in English is a MUST. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a big PLUS.

  • Language: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short memos, and write basic correspondence. Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, clients, and supervisors.

Key Skills & Abilities

  • Mathematical: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimals, with a strong ability to make change accurately.

  • Tools & Demeanor: Ability to use a clock (standard/military time) and credit card machines to handle transactions. Must maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor over the phone and in person.

Work Availability & Physical Demands

  • Schedule: Flexibility to work special shifts depending on location hiring needs, which may include 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends.

  • Physical Requirements: Regularly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel tools/controls, and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to walk and stand, with specific close vision abilities needed.

  • License: A valid state‑issued driver’s license with a current address and an acceptable driving record is only required if expected to drive a company vehicle or drive on company business.
