Job Responsibilities- Place and finish dental restorations (fillings) after the dentist prepares the tooth.
- Take accurate impressions for temporary crowns, bridges, and diagnostic models.
- Fabricate and place temporary crowns and bridges.
- Perform coronal polishing and fluoride treatments.
- Apply sealants and desensitizing agents as directed.
- Assist the dentist during procedures, including restorative, prosthodontic, and endodontic treatments.
- Take and process radiographs.
- Maintain proper infection control and sterilization standards.
- Provide clear post-treatment instructions to patients.
- Charts treatment notes accurately and assist with updating patient records.
- Monitor inventory and prepare trays for procedures.
- Support front office team with patient flow and case coordination when needed.
Required
Skills & Experience:
One (1) - two (2) years of dental assisting experience required. Strong knowledge of restorative procedures and materials. Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail. Preferred
Skills & Experience:
EFDA experience.
Required
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Education:
