Teleprompter Operator Seasonal

JOB TITLE:
Teleprompter Operator Seasonal

Univision is seeking for a Seasonal Teleprompter Operator, responsible for rolling the teleprompter for the talent. This includes being able to seamlessly move through the rundown when changes are made and keep focus during productions that can be long or short format.

• Loads and runs the script following the talent
• Clean and inspect prompter hardware including monitor and reflective glass prior to broadcast
• Check closed captioning of recorded or live broadcast if necessary
• Build and break remote prompters
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment

• Associate degree in television production or equivalent work experience
• Working knowledge of Computers and Windows Operating Systems including Word processing software.
• 1-2 years of experience with live studio broadcast
• Comfortable with all aspects of the production
• Perform well under pressure and immediate changes
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Works effectively with others in a team environment.
• Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) preferred
