Zyscovich is searching for a Sr. Construction Administrator to contribute to our highly innovative and diverse team of professionals.
Duties:
- Coordinate all architectural and sub-consultant activities related to project construction contract administration, including drawings process, field observations, reports, change orders and pay requests.
- Review project submittals and review, coordinate and respond to RFIs.
- Other related activities include assist with the development and improvement of the contract administration process with emphasis on efficiency, quality assurance, quality compliance, and rapid project close-out.
- Compile, evaluate and present feedback information related to necessary changes in construction documents.
- Attend project meetings; prepare and distribute meeting minutes as required by contract.
- Conduct on-site observations and prepare and distribute reports and resolve construction administration problems for larger projects.
- Coordinate with the architecture/engineering team to ensure project completion complies with contract documents and applicable codes and regulations.
- Review contractor’s project drawings, warranties and other post-construction submittal.
- Review construction change order information for contract conformance.
- Review contractor requests for payment.
- Communicate effectively and maintain proactive working relationship with clients and contractors.
Qualifications:
- 12+ Years in Construction Administration or related field is required.
- A Bachelors' degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management is required.
- Knowledge of sustainable design and construction process is preferred.
- Field experience is preferred.
- Basic computer application proficiency is required. Knowledge of Newforma, AutoCAD and/or Revit is preferred.
- General Contractor license is a plus.
