BIM Coordinator
At HV Talent Group, we help talented professionals connect with top employers nationwide. As a trusted recruiting partner to industry-leading companies, we focus on direct-hire placements that align with your career goals, values, and long-term growth.
OverviewOur client is seeking a BIM Coordinator to support coordination efforts across active and upcoming vertical construction projects. This role focuses on maintaining models, managing clash detection, tracking coordination issues, and supporting project teams with accurate, buildable information. It is also a strong growth opportunity toward future BIM/VDC leadership.
What You Will Do:
- Develop, update, and maintain federated BIM models using input from design consultants and trade partners
- Run clash detection, manage version control, perform model housekeeping, and track coordination issues on a structured schedule
- Support BIM coordination meetings with reports, screenshots, agendas, and action tracking
- Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and trade layouts against models to identify constructability issues early
- Assist field teams with layout references, above-ceiling coordination, sleeve/blockout tracking, and turnover support when needed
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in BIM, VDC, or model coordination on vertical construction projects
- Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and cloud-based collaboration tools (AutoCAD is a plus)
- Ability to read construction documents and understand how architectural, structural, and MEP systems integrate in the field
- Strong organizational skills with disciplined tracking and follow-through on coordination issues
- Eagerness to learn and grow under senior BIM and operations leadership
What We Value:
- Candidates who can connect BIM models to real field execution, not just software usage
- Strong communication, documentation habits, and ownership of coordination tasks
- Curiosity about how buildings are constructed and how systems come together in the field
This is a growth-focused role designed to strengthen coordination across projects while developing the next generation of BIM leadership within the organization.
