Job Overview:
Seeking an experienced Licensed Project Architect to lead architectural production efforts, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure the successful delivery of commercial projects from concept through construction. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and experience producing high-quality construction documents while maintaining compliance with building codes and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of architectural drawings and construction documents.
- Coordinate with engineering and consulting disciplines to maintain design accuracy.
- Support design development and provide technical problem-solving.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, ADA requirements, and permitting standards.
- Mentor and supervise junior architects and design staff.
- Participate in construction administration activities, including RFIs, submittals, and site visits.
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and consultants throughout project life cycles.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture.
- 10+ years of architectural design and production experience.
- Experience leading projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong knowledge of construction documentation, detailing, building systems, and permitting processes.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and within collaborative project teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- LEED Accredited Professional.
- Experience with Sketch Up, ArchiCAD, Rhino, Lumion, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience working with established U.S. or international architecture firms.
