PROJECT MANAGER - INTERIOR DESIGN Full-Time | DKOR Interiors | Miami

At DKOR Interiors, we design and execute high-end residential and commercial spaces where design, construction, and client experience come together. We're looking for a full-time Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is excited to grow into a leadership role within a strong, people-driven culture.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in interior design, construction, carpentry, or a related trade-based industry who understands how projects truly come together — and who wants to apply that knowledge in the world of high-end interiors.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Project Manager at DKOR, you will be the connective tissue between design, clients, vendors, and construction teams
. You'll work closely with Lead Designers, guide Junior Designers, and collaborate directly with leadership to keep projects moving forward with clarity, momentum, and enthusiasm.

You'll manage a mixed portfolio of approximately 15-20 projects
, providing structure, oversight, and problem-solving while keeping the human side of the process front and center.

This is a mid-level role with clear leadership growth potential
.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in interior design, construction, carpentry, fabrication, or a related trade-based industry
  • Exposure to high-end residential and/or commercial projects
  • Strong people skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently
  • Calm, professional demeanor and ability to perform well under pressure
  • Natural leadership qualities with a collaborative mindset
  • Strong judgment, reliability, and follow-through
  • Curiosity and interest in how projects are built and executed
  • Familiarity with Design Manager is a plus, but not required
  • Desire to grow into a leadership role within a design-focused company
  • English and Spanish speakers preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES Project Leadership
  • Lead projects from active design through construction, installation, and turnover
  • Partner closely with Lead Designers to proactively plan project phases
  • Provide logistical, budgetary, and scheduling oversight
  • Maintain team alignment, motivation, and accountability
Client Experience
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring them the correct steps are being taken to keep the project on track.
  • Ensure clear, consistent, and confident communication while guiding the clients on the best path of action for a successful project execution.
  • Identify when to escalated issues and resolve them efficiently
  • Build trust and maintain strong client relationships
Team Coordination
  • Work above Junior Designers and alongside Lead Designers
  • Provide guidance on timelines, priorities, and expectations
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and solutions-oriented team environment
Planning, Budget & Timelines
  • Track project hours, timelines, and scope
  • Identify scope changes and support teams in adjusting as needed
  • Anticipate challenges and bottlenecks proactively
  • Support continuous process improvement and simplification
Vendors, Trades & On-Site Oversight
  • Coordinate with vendors and trades across multiple projects
  • Review pricing, ask questions, and negotiate when appropriate
  • Attend key on-site milestones including installations, staging, and turnovers
  • Review construction methods to ensure quality and alignment with design intent
