Role Description The Architectural Metals Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL, responsible for overseeing custom architectural metal projects from initial design review through final installation. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating project schedules and resources, reviewing architectural and construction drawings, and managing submittals to ensure compliance with client specifications and industry standards. The role involves collaborating closely with architects, general contractors, fabricators, and installers to resolve technical issues, maintain quality, and meet project milestones.

The Project Manager monitors budget and timelines, prepares progress updates, and supports adherence to relevant codes and sustainability requirements, including LEED-related considerations where applicable.
Qualifications

  • Strong project coordination skills, including scheduling, resource management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Experience with submittals, shop drawings, and documentation review for architectural metal or construction projects.
  • Knowledge of architecture and construction drawings, with the ability to interpret details and translate them into fabrication requirements.
  • Familiarity with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards and sustainable building practices.
  • Background in metal fabrication, construction management, or a related field; experience with architectural metals is highly beneficial.
  • Proficiency with project management software and common office tools; CAD or BIM exposure is an asset.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities, with attention to detail and quality.
  • Relevant education such as a degree or technical certification in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related discipline.
