Senior Designer

Hino Studio is seeking a talented and highly motivated Senior Interior Designer to join our growing design studio. We are looking for someone with a refined design sensibility, strong technical expertise, and the ability to confidently lead projects from concept through installation. Our work is rooted in creating thoughtful, timeless interiors with a contemporary point of view. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable developing a strong creative concept and managing the technical and organizational demands required to execute it beautifully.

• Lead residential interior design projects through all phases, from concept development and schematic design through construction administration and installation.
• Develop space plans, furniture layouts, material palettes, custom millwork, lighting, and architectural details.
• Produce and oversee detailed drawing sets, specifications, schedules, and presentation materials.
• Source and specify furniture, lighting, finishes, fabrics, fixtures, and accessories.
• Coordinate closely with architects, contractors, fabricators, vendors, consultants, and clients.
• Review shop drawings, samples, submittals, and construction progress to maintain design intent.
• Manage project timelines, priorities, and deliverables across multiple active projects.
• Mentor and provide direction to junior designers while collaborating closely with the studio principals.
• Participate in client presentations, site meetings, installations, and styling.

• 5+ years of professional interior design experience, preferably with high-end residential projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Exceptional design judgment and a sophisticated understanding of scale, proportion, color, materials, and detailing.
• Strong technical drawing and documentation skills.
