Position: Assistant Professor of Clinical - Surgery, Surgical Oncology (Breast)
General Description (Purpose and Function): is seeking a fellowship-trained surgeon specializing in breast and cutaneous oncology to join our surgical oncology team. We have strong multidisciplinary programs in breast and cutaneous oncology that work to provide high quality clinical care and access to Primary Duties and Responsibilities (For-exempt Employees Include Percent of Effort):

Job responsibilities include participation in clinical and educational activities as they relate to the Division of Surgical Oncology and the Department of Surgery with a special emphasis on breast reconstruction:
Oversees outcomes, quality, and patient experience for the program Work with hospital personnel to obtain all mutually agreed upon program designations of distinction
** Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
** Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures, and techniques Thorough knowledge of pharmacological agents used in patient treatments Effective verbal and written communication skills along with proper telephone etiquette  duties Education Requirements (Essential Requirements):

Applicants should have a strong commitment to patient care and education and an interest in clinical research.  Bachelor's degree in pre-medicine or related field, followed by 4 years in medical school and additional residency and fellowship specialty training.
** Work Experience Requirements (Essential Requirements):
** 0 – 5 years post fellowship clinical experience in the field of breast surgery preferred
