The Department of Neurology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine is seeking a highly motivated Neuropsychologist to join our growing and nationally recognized Neuropsychology Division at the rank of Assistant Professor.
We are looking for individuals with outstanding clinical training, a passion for patient care, and a commitment to academic medicine. Candidates with scholarly activity, research experience, and publications are encouraged to apply.
** Position Highlights
** The successful candidate will:
* Serve as the supervising neuropsychologist for studies conducted through the renowned McKnight Brain Institute Center.
* Provide comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for patients referred to the Department of Neurology and associated outpatient clinics.
* Participate in a multidisciplinary neuropsychology outpatient practice serving a diverse patient population.
* Collaborate with neurologists, neuroscientists, and other healthcare professionals within a leading academic medical center.
* Supervise and mentor postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, and trainees participating in the Neuropsychology Program.
* Contribute to academic, educational, and research initiatives within the Department of Neurology.
** Qualifications
* ** PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
* Completion of at least two years of postdoctoral training in neuropsychology.
* Eligibility for or current Florida licensure as a psychologist.
* Strong background in neuropsychological assessment and clinical care.
* Interest in teaching, mentorship, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
** Candidates who are clinically well-trained, team-oriented, and interested in contributing to academic medicine are strongly encouraged to apply.
