Adjunct Nurse Faculty - Clinicals

Overview

FVI Florida School of Nursing & Technology is seeking Full-Time and Part-Time Nurse Faculty with experience teaching Med-Surg and Fundamentals of Nursing. Located in Miramar, FL, the school offers affordable, short-term career education in Nursing and Allied Health and supports students toward meaningful employment.

• Utilize different teaching methodologies to accommodate various learner types and achieve student outcomes
• Follow the institution's policies and procedures as stated in the faculty handbook and catalog
• Participate in faculty meetings and collaborate with the Director of Nursing on institutional improvement plans
• Deliver assigned teaching load and facilitate learning in the classroom
• Supervise students in clinical settings, Skills/Simulation labs as needed
• Foster a welcoming learning environment and maintain active engagement with students
• Collaborate with the Clinical Director to place students in clinical facilities and support clinical preceptorship as applicable
• Maintain regular office hours for student support
• Contribute to syllabus alignment and program outcomes while adhering to accreditation standards

• Active and encumbered Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Florida
• Master’s degree in Nursing is required
• Medical-Surgical and Mental Health nursing background strongly preferred
• Active BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Three or more years of teaching experience
• Three or more years of clinical experience in the specialty being taught
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and use Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

• Part-time or Full-time, based on candidate and need
