St. Timothy Catholic School in Miami, Florida has an opening for a qualified full-time Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Inclusion Teacher for the upcoming 2025-26 school year. This teacher will be responsible for assessing identified students, planning individual lessons based on their specific needs, researching resources, and communicating with parents, teachers, and therapists. S/he will work in conjunction with the classroom teacher, providing push in academic instruction to ESE students.
The ESE Inclusion Teacher will be responsible for monitoring students’ progress and adjusting instruction as needed. The candidate will perform all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on certification and years of service.
Schedule: Monday
- Friday, 7:25 A.M.
- 3:25 P.M.
- BS / BA Degree in Exceptional Student Education or Elementary Education.
- Florida Department of Education ESE teaching certificate, professional or temporary required.
- 2 years of related experience.
- Proficient in strategies to teach students with learning disabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with administration, colleagues, staff, and parents.
- Ability to teach a multi-grade level classroom.
- Excellent presentation skills including the use of instructional technologies.
- Excellent oral and written English language communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.
- Must have knowledge of basic tenets of Roman Catholic Church.
