Physical Science​/Chemistry Teacher

Immaculata - La Salle High School, a private Catholic school in Miami, is looking to hire a qualified and experienced Physical Science/Chemistry Teacher for the 2025-26 school year who has a deep understanding of the natural sciences that will allow him or her to create lessons that are relevant to the students as they learn. The teacher performs all duties and responsibilities with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.

Salary is commensurate with certification and years of service.

• Teach all levels of high school science with ability in chemistry and basic physical science.
• Demonstrate familiarity with iPad Applications, MS Office, online grade books, and other online educational applications and a willingness to work with such technology.
• Help guide high school students towards a holistic formation of personhood.

• Required:
  
  Bachelor's Degree in a field of chemistry or natural science.
• Master's degree in chemistry, natural science or Education preferred.
• Florida Department of Education Teacher Certification preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Minimum one year of experience.
• Good computer literacy, including ability to navigate online applications and search engines effectively.
• Good spelling and grammar are required.
• Effective oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
• Supportive of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in a Roman Catholic environment preferred.
• Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
