School Counselor

Our Lady of Lourdes Academy, an all-girl, archdiocesan high school in South Miami-Dade, proudly boasts a history of strong academics, competitive athletics, spiritual service, and extracurricular achievement ((Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).). We are looking for an experienced Certified School Counselor for the  school year. This candidate provides leadership in the school through the implementation of a comprehensive school counseling program aligned with the school’s mission to provide academic, social, emotional, and college career development.

The School Counselor performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.

• Master’s Degree in School Counseling or related field required.
• Florida Department of Education (FDOE) Professional Educator Certificate in School Counselor or related field, Grades 9-12.
• 3-5 years of related experience.
• Exhibited intellectual curiosity and a passion for fostering confident lifelong learners.
• Interest and experience in interacting with students outside of the classroom in co-curricular activities.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Knowledge and skill in the use of Excel & Word.
• Excellent oral and written English language communication skills, including a clear speaking voice.
• Must be fully committed, supportive, and respectful of the mission, teachings, and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.
