MS Language Arts Teacher

St. Brendan Catholic School in Southwest Miami, Florida has an opening for a qualified full-time Middle School Language Arts Teacher for the upcoming school year 2026-27. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional plan for Middle School ELA students. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.

Salary will be based oncertification and years of service.

• BS / BA Degree in Secondary Education, English, Language Arts, or subject-related field.
• Florida Department of Education Teaching Certificate in Language Arts.
• Strong presentation skills use of instructional technologies.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Effective oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
• Good spelling and grammar required.
• Fully committed, supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in the Roman Catholic environment preferred.
• Knowledge of basic tenets of the Catholic Church.
