- Dade, Florida has an opening for a qualified full-time Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Elementary Teacher for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. This candidate must be an ESE teacher who is passionate about teaching exceptional students and proficient in strategies that facilitate learning for students with learning disabilities. The teacher will perform all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Salary will vary based on certification and years of service.
- BS / BA Degree in Exceptional Student Education (ESE).
- Florida Department of Education ESE teaching certificate, professional or temporary required.
- Proficient in strategies to teach students with learning disabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with administration, colleagues, staff, and parents.
- Ability to teach a multi-grade level classroom.
- Excellent presentation skills including use of instructional technologies.
- Excellent oral and written English language communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Supportive and respectful? of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.
- Must have knowledge of basic tenets of Roman Catholic Church.
