As an Elementary School Teacher at Rambam, you will:
- Create a warm, engaging classroom where students feel safe, supported, and excited to learn
- Design and deliver developmentally appropriate, interdisciplinary lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student learning using a variety of tools (benchmarks, MAP testing, formative assessments, etc.)
- Use data thoughtfully to inform instruction and support individual student growth
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to plan instruction, share ideas, and problem-solve together
- Communicate regularly and openly with families about student progress and classroom expectations
- Foster higher-order thinking, curiosity, and a growth mindset in all students
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement
- Participate in professional development to stay current with best practices and educational research
- Believe deeply that every child can succeed and work intentionally to make that belief a reality
We’re excited to connect with educators who bring many of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Valid teaching certification (preferred)
- Experience differentiating instruction for diverse learners
- Familiarity with research-based interventions and tiered instruction
- Comfort working with students from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities
- Strong communication skills with students, colleagues, and families
- Ability to use data to guide instruction and support student growth
- Strong organizational, time-management, and collaboration skills
