Position Overview

This Adjunct faculty member teaches Biology courses.

Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: MDC In-Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery) and Blended Classes.

What you will be doing

* Teaches lecture and laboratory sections

* Evaluates and advises students

* Participates in departmental and College affairs

* Recruits students

* Serves on committees

* Develops Curricula

* Performs other duties as assigned

What you need to succeed

* Master's degree in one of the Biological Sciences from a regionally accredited institution or a Master's degree and 18 graduate credit hours in the Biological Sciences from a regionally accredited institution

* Must possess excellent communication skills

* Must be able to work well with students, faculty, staff and the community

* Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments
