Position Overview

This Adjunct Faculty teaches non-transferable courses in the "High School" Dance (Ballet and Modern) Division. This individual will also choreograph and direct high school and college students in choreographic works.

What you will be doing

* Teaches lecture and laboratory sections

* Evaluates and advises students

* Develops curricula

* Recruits students

* Participates in departmental and College affairs

* Performs other duties as assigned

What you need to succeed

* Bachelor's Degree in Dance; or a Bachelor's Degree in related field and choreographing teaching work experience preferred; a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Dance; or an Associate's Degree and choreographing work experience

* All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution

* Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

* Ability to work well with students, faculty, staff and the community

* Ability to work in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment

* Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments

* Willing to work flexible schedule and assignments, which may include travel to various campuses and/or outreach centers
