Position Overview
This Adjunct Faculty member teaches courses in Art Appreciation, Art History and/or studio courses such as Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Photography, and Computer Art.
What you will be doing
* Teaches lecture and laboratory sections
* Evaluates and advises students
* Participates in departmental and College affairs
* Develops curricula
* Recruits students
* Serves on committees
* Performs other duties as assigned
What you need to succeed
* Master's in Fine Arts degree (MFA) from a regionally accredited institution; or a Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution with 18 graduate credit hours in one of the following areas: painting, drawing, sculpture, studio arts, photography
* Must be willing to work flexible hours and assignments, which may include assignments at outreach centers
* Ability to work in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment
Additional Requirements
The final candidate is to successfully complete a background screening and reference check process.
