Position Overview

The Adjunct Faculty member teaches Technology courses to students in the Bachelor in Science program.

Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: MDC In-Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery) and Blended Classes.

* Teaches courses

* Evaluates and advises students

* Develops curricula

* Recruits students

* Performs other duties as assigned

What you need to succeed

* Doctorate or Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Machine Learning or related field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer or Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering); or Doctorate or Master's degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Machine Learning or related field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer or Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering)

* Flexibility to teach off site with industry partners

* Abilty to work mornings, evenings, and weekends

* Ability to provide both theoretical and hands on instruction in the classroom

* Must possess excellent communication skills

* Must be able to work well in a multi-ethic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty, staff and the community

* Must be able to function well in a technological environment
