Position Overview
The Veterinary Technology, Adjunct Instructor teaches courses in the lecture, laboratory and/or clinical setting
What you will be doing
* Provides instruction in Veterinary Technology courses
* Evaluates and advises students
* Develops curricula
* Recruits students
* Serves on committees
* Performs other duties as assigned
What you need to succeed
* Master's degree in any field and a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology from an American Veterinary Medical Association Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (AVMA CVTEA) accredited program; and Valid national Veterinary Technician (CVT) certification from the American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB) or State of Florida Veterinary Technician licensure; and 3 years of full-time work and/or instructional experience in field
* All degrees must be from regionally accredited institutions
* Must possess excellent communication skills
* Must be able to work well with students, faculty, staff and the community
* Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
* Must be able to travel between campuses, clinical sites and off-campus offering sites
* Must possess basic computer skills
