Position Overview
The Part-Time Instructor will teach private music lessons.
What you will be doing
* Teaches studio classes and arranges master classes
* Participates in student juries and recitals
* Evaluates and advises students
* Maintains accurate records and grades
* Participates in auditions
* Performs other duties as assigned
What you need to succeed
* Master's degree in discipline or a Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution and 18 graduate credit hours in discipline from an accredited institution
* All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
* Teaching experience at a college or community college level preferred
* Experience in successfully teaching advanced music students
* Ability to demonstrate an advanced level of performance and proficiency on instrument
* Ability to work well with students, faculty, and staff members
* Must possess excellent organizational skills
