St. Hugh Catholic School in Coconut Grove (Miami Dade County), Florida has an opening for a full-time Elementary Teacher Aide for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. The applicant must be nurturing, creative and a dedicated professional with the ability to: support the learning environment, cultivate critical thinking skills, work collaboratively as part of a team, and lead small group lessons. The candidate performs the duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Salary will vary based on education and years of experience.
- Associates degree required; BS / BA Degree in Education preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Effective presentation skills with use of instructional technologies.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel;
PowerPoint a plus. - Strong oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Good spelling and grammar required.
- Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
