• Provides supplemental instruction (tutoring) in various modalities such as 1-to-1 and small groups.
• Assist with ACES course review or assist the ACES team with tasks as needed for continued improvement of the program.
• Discusses learning, test‑taking and study strategies while assisting with course work assignments and questions.
• Completes session documentation at the completion of each supplemental instruction session.
• Assists students with composing study guides.
• Facilitates review sessions during midterm, finals, or other exams and/or as needed based on student needs.
• Maintains familiarity with all existing ACES (Academic and Enrichment Consultation Services) resources and refers students to resources as appropriate.
• Follows and upholds FIU academic honesty policies and procedures, FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) policies and ACES procedures.

• Previous tutoring or teaching experience.
• Knowledge of active learning and study strategies, test‑taking strategies, and time‑management techniques.

Per‑Diem - 10‑15 hours per week. The schedule varies.

$20.00/hour
